This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.

This week’s venture capital funding announcements are a return to form, led by three transactions exceeding the $100 million threshold.

The top reported deal, per FinSMEs, came from a familiar name, San Francisco-based Databricks, which raised a $1 billion Series K in part to “accelerate its AI strategy, expanding Agent Bricks, launching the new Lakebase category, and fueling global growth,” according to its announcement.
