Boutique fintech MarketAxess unveiled plans to introduce its Opening and Closing Auctions solution. The solution aims to enhance price discovery and market liquidity in fixed-income segments.

Additionally, the offering will enable access to liquid situations at critical trading points.

GeoWealth

Boutique advisortech GeoWealth unveiled its Private Model Marketplace solution. The product offers advisors part-liquid alternative offerings and ready integrations with investor portfolios.

GeoWealth also partnered with leading companies, including Goldman Sachs Asset Management, BlackRock, and Apollo, to provide access to private fund models.

Clearwater Analytics

On the AI end, Clearwater Analytics announced the global availability of its CWAN GenAI product. The offering enables AI integrations with investment lifecycle components, including operations, risk management, and asset management.

CWAN GenAI also has integrations with Clearwater’s ecosystem, enabling immediate deployments.

Nasdaq/London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG)

LSEG partnered with Nasdaq to enhance data availability. The tie-up enables access to private market data via the LSEG Workspace and Datafeeds.

Furthermore, the collaboration includes LSEG’s licensing of the Nasdaq eVestment™ private markets datasets and their related components.

Chainlink Labs

On October 4, boutique blockchain operator Chainlink Labs unveiled its Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) solution. CRE provides an ecosystem for secure deployments of institutional smart contracts.

Additionally, CRE offers simultaneous access to blockchains and oracle-focused data feeds, improving on-chain finance interactions.

The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA)/Coinbase/Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)

Coinbase’s OCC application for a national banking charter faced stiff opposition from a CFI-focused lobbying group. In a November 3 letter to the OCC, the Independent Community Bankers of America urged the regulator to reject the crypto exchange’s application.

Moreover, the organization stated that Coinbase failed to meet several requirements and that the OCC would face hurdles in winding down the proposed trust bank if it were to fail.

KraneShares/Tether (Hadron)/Bitfinex Securities

Tether’s tokenization business unit teamed up with KraneShares and Bitfinex Securities. The partnership focuses on developing tokenization infrastructure.
