Anyone notice the “bullish party” is over? I know, markets only go up BUT ask any BITCOIN holder (including me) and that always go up theory falls apart. This is a major turning point. Equities, specifically the S&P 500, are touching lower and lower highs, struggling to hit that magic 7,000 mark. GOLD now has everyone long just like BITCOIN did. Take note.
The financial markets have had a beautiful multi-year run (Yippee, Yea) but like all good things they have to end. All the things that have been overlooked (deficits, persistent inflation, affordability, global turmoil, etc) are now coming to the forefront. What could possibly go wrong? A lot.
The American populace is growing very VERY restless. If everything was working well socialist candidates (New York Mayor Mamdani) would not be popping up in Los Angeles and other places. Trump’s “magic” is under pressure and mid-term elections are just around the corner. I sense frustration on multiple fronts.
So, you can wait and fantasize about S&P 500 7,000, GOLD at $10,000 and BITCOIN bouncing up to wherever, but remember it’s been a great run. Don’t get greedy.
