This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.

This week our overall AI venture capital activity retained its strength from prior weeks, with all five of our listed announcements coming in over $160 million and nine announcements total coming in over $100 million.
The biggest announcement, per FinSMEs, came from Los Angeles-based robotics provider Atoms, which raised $1.7 billion to “integrate its newly merged multi-sector corporate assets, scale the production of its task-specific machine learning hardware, and accelerate full-scale industrial AI deployments across global distribution and heavy-industry networks,” according to its announcement. Our second-place announcement was from the AI infrastructure space, where San Sebastian, Spain-based Multiverse Computing raised $570 million in a Series C to “expand its library of models, make strategic investments in sovereign AI gigafactory infrastructure, and establish a regional presence across East Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Canada, and the United States,” according to its announcement. Rounding out the top 5 are announcements from the security, real estate, and expense management spaces.
Smaller funding raises that did not quite make our top 5 this week included announcements from the physical AI, cybersecurity and health care sectors.
Below, we highlight the top five venture capital deals, ranked from the highest to the lowest funding amounts, showcasing the companies at the forefront of the AI revolution…
