Top 5 VC Deals of the Week in AI (12/5/25)

2350

This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.

This week’s venture capital funding took a holiday break, as there were only three days of deals published to pull our announcements from. Nevertheless, there were two transactions in excess of the $100 million threshold.

The top reported deal, per FinSMEs, came from Germany’s Black Forest Labs, a visual AI company, which raised $300 million in a Series B. Black Forest Labs will use the funds to “accelerate its R&D, hiring, and infrastructure efforts, advancing its flagship model FLUX,” according to its announcement. Our second announcement is from San Jose, Calif.-based Axiado Corporation, which raised $100 million in a Series C+ to “expand sales, marketing, and support teams, as well as to invest in the development of next-generation platforms,” according to its announcement. The top five also included companies in the cybersecurity, construction and voice AI sectors.

Smaller funding raises that did not quite make our top 5 this week included announcements from the wealthtech, AI infrastructure and warehouse robotics spaces.

Below, we highlight the top five venture capital deals, ranked from the highest to the lowest funding amounts, showcasing the companies at the forefront of the AI revolution…
