This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.

This week our overall AI venture capital activity accelerated again from prior weeks, including multiple large raises from companies related to the financial services industry.
The biggest announcement, per FinSMEs, came from Cambridge, Mass.-based Blitzy, an autonomous software development platform. The company raised a $200 million round at a $1.4 billion valuation, which it will use to “expand its research team and scale its partnership ecosystem through new and existing customers, including a focus on regulated industries like government, financial services and insurance,” according to its announcement. Our second-place announcement was from New York-based Rogo, raising $160 million in a Series D, which it will use to “accelerate its global expansion, deepen its partnerships financial institutions, and scale its AI agent, Felix,” according to its announcement. Rogo builds generative AI for asset managers, investment banks and private equity firms. The top five also included companies in the healthcare, AI inference and marketing spaces.
Smaller funding raises that did not quite make our top 5 this week included announcements from the lawtech, agentic AI and AI infrastructure sectors.
