This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.
This past week was for a third time in a row a muted one for venture funding in AI, at least when it comes to big deals, with no funding announcement exceeding the $100M threshold. There’s still plenty to talk about.
This week’s top reported deal, per FinSMEs, came in at $76 million from the contact and data center sector, where Ujet’s Series D round will fund its vison of “AI-orchestrated” customer experiences. The second biggest announcement was in the video and software infrastructure space, where HPC-AI Technology, which bills itself as a GPU cloud platform, brought in a $50M Series A round. The top five also included three companies in the auto dealership, retail visual AI and the always messy emergency communications spaces.
Smaller funding raises that did not quite make our top 5 this week included announcements in the investech, enterprise AI, and health and fitness realms.
Below, we highlight the top five venture capital deals, ranked from the highest to the lowest funding amounts, showcasing the companies at the forefront of the AI revolution….
