This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.
It was again an active week for AI venture funding, led by one deal exceeding the $100 million threshold.
This week’s top reported deal, per FinSMEs, came from Atlanta-based Tractian, which raised $120 million in its Series C round to support its development of manufacturing AI tools. The next biggest announcement came from the waste management space, where Denver-headquartered AMP brought in a $91M round. The top five also included companies in the biotech, augmented reality and generative AI spaces.
Smaller funding raises that did not quite make our top 5 this week included announcements from the logistics, health care and vendor management sectors.
