This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.

This week our overall AI venture capital activity gained back some of its momentum from prior weeks, with all five of our listed announcements coming in over $300 million and ten announcements total coming in over $100 million.
The biggest announcement, per FinSMEs, came from San Mateo, Calif.-based AI training infrastructure provider Fireworks, which raised $1.5 billion in a Series D to “continue expanding its engineering team and global compute capacity to meet skyrocketing enterprise demand, and deepen partnerships with cloud partners like Microsoft and NVIDIA,” according to its announcement. Our second-place announcement was also from the AI infrastructure space, where London-based Pure Data Centres Group raised nearly $1.5 billion in senior debt financing to continue building and operating AI data centers across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, according to its announcement. Rounding out the top 5 are announcements from the physical AI, 3D generation and AI infrastructure spaces.
Smaller funding raises that did not quite make our top 5 this week included announcements from the robotics, software development and health care sectors.
Below, we highlight the top five venture capital deals, ranked from the highest to the lowest funding amounts, showcasing the companies at the forefront of the AI revolution…
