Why Not Just Let AI Take Over. All of It.

1298

Why fight it? AI (artificial intelligence) is real, it’s here to stay and it’s going to change all of our lives.

OK, I’m in. But why wait? With things as crazy as they are now, why not just turn everything over to the AI crew now? Just about everything humans can do, artificial intelligence can do, too. Well, except think, but I’m not sure humans can think either. Which is why we should just give AI a total takeover try.

Let’s be frank. Most everyone has heard of artificial intelligence, or AI, but don’t  have much of a clue of what it can do or will be able to do in the future. Not surprised since understanding everything about AI can be daunting. But to keep it simple and gloss over the “detail stuff”, you should know AI can write and create content. It can translate languages. It can research data assisting in the development of…….well, almost anything (medical prognosis, new drugs, education, etc etc). It can access data to speed up all kinds of forecasting. It can speak (think Sirii). AND, it can re-create you, like on social media, without you even knowing. So who needs us?

On the dark side, AI can be used for evil (like humans never do evil). Interesting, reported today, Japan’s largest telecom company and biggest newspaper called for laws to restrain generative AI saying democracy and social order are at risk if AI is unrestrained. Spoiler alert; humans creating disinformation and fake news are already in play. Ha, beat you, AI.

So if artificial intelligence can do all those things (and more) currently with advancements coming at light speed, why hang around? Why not get your beach chair, buy all the bitcoin you can and hit the beach? Curl up and read the AI generated news. Life could be good. Just let AI take over now. It’s inevitable so why fight it.
