This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.
This past week was an active one for venture funding in AI, with two deals far exceeding $100M threshold.
This week’s top reported deal, per FinSMEs, came in at a whopping $500 million from the software development sector, where poolside’s Series B round will fund its AI-assisted developer’s toolsets. The second biggest announcement was in the lawtech space, where EvenUp brought in an impressive $135M Series D round. The top five also included three companies in the customer experience, life sciences and production engineering spaces.
Smaller funding raises that did not quite make our top 5 this week included announcements by Voyage AI, a system intended to reduce AI hallucinations, as well as startups in the AI testing, chemicals and raw materials, and marketing realms.
