This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.
This past week was an active one for venture funding in AI, with another deal, but only one, crossing the $100M threshold.
This week’s top reported deal, per FinSMEs, came in from the procurement space, where Zip raised $190 million to support its B2B purchasing platform. The next biggest announcement was in the agriculture space, where Carbon Robotics brought in a $70M Series D round. The top five also included companies in the cybersecurity and medtech spaces.
Smaller funding raises that did not quite make our top 5 this week included announcements from the proptech, telecommunication and accounting sectors.
