This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.
This week our announcements are led by two deals exceeding the $100 million threshold.
This week’s top reported deal, per FinSMEs, came from Dallas-based Colossal Biosciences, which raised $200 million in its Series C round to continue its de-extinction projects. We have much more on what Colossal Biosciences is up to and some of the ways in which they are using AI in our AI Education column this week. The next biggest announcement came from the data processing space, where San Francisco-based Instabase brought in a $100 million Series D round. The top five also included companies in the lawtech, behavioral health and edge computing spaces.
