Well, that was a fast war. So far. All the worries and fears about Iran having a nuclear program just went BOOM. Literally. All gone. All clear. Nothing to see here.
Now, back to the war in Ukraine. Russia is making gains and has “pedal to the metal” to complete a full takeover of Ukraine. What will NATO and/or the U.S do?
Oh wait. Look over here. Tariffs are still not totally solved nor their effect on global economies. Nobody knows how the tariff situation will be resolved.
And as investors refocus on Russia or the tariffs, do not be surprised when Iran/Israel missiles fly again. Iran still has terrorist networks, too, in case you overlooked that. I don’t believe they are included in any ceasefire agreement.
Enough said. It’s summer and markets are becoming more illiquid as pool time takes front and center.
A BIG and very UNPREDICTABLE surprise is due to happen. And, no one knows how it will play out. Not even the players themselves.
Time to sit this out. Going to NEUTRAL on everything. BTC, ETH, GOLD and S&P 500. All bets are off. The risk/reward is just not worth being involved.
When in doubt, sit it out.
