This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.
This week’s venture capital funding is led by four deals exceeding the $100 million threshold, restoring momentum to the AI VC space.
The top reported deal, per FinSMEs, came from San Francisco-based AI trust management provider Vanta, which raised a $150 million Series D in part to “accelerate AI innovation and expansion into new markets including third party risk and government compliance,” according to its announcement. The same day, a similarly sized announcement came from the healthcare space, where New York-based Aidoc brought in a $150 million round. The top five also included companies in the fintech, AI research and infrastructure sectors.
Smaller funding raises that did not quite make our top 5 this week included announcements from the lawtech, security and tax planning spaces.
