The Las Vegas-based Wealth Consulting Group (WCG), a hybrid RIA and wealth management platform affiliated with LPL Financial, has named a new Advisory Board this week. This non-fiduciary body includes wealthtech leader Stuart DePina, who served as President of Envestnet; Jason Ehrlich, former Managing Director and Head of Investments at Emigrant Partners; Paul Kim, CFA, CEO and co-founder of Simplify Asset Management; and Andy Kalbaugh, WCG’s newly appointed President.

Stuart DePina

“Over the last 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of consulting with over 1,000 RIA firms and can say definitively that WCG has been able to achieve a level of success, without external resources, that few firms have been able to accomplish,” said DePina. “I couldn’t be more excited and honored to participate on the WCG Advisory Board and look forward to working with my fellow Board members and the executive team as we focus on further enabling WCG’s advisors to achieve greater success while enhancing their value proposition in the markets they serve.”

The Advisory Board “will help guide the firm as it continues to drive growth and success for its financial advisors, scale its operations and technology, enhance enterprise value for its partner firms and deliver a comprehensive wealth management experience to clients,” the firm announced.

Jimmy Lee

“I’m honored to have such a distinguished group of industry veterans agree to join our Advisory Board,” said Jimmy Lee, Founder and CEO of The Wealth Consulting Group, in a release. “Each is a respected executive, thought leader and influencer in different areas of our industry. We will draw on their insights, hard-won expertise, and unique perspectives to guide our efforts in creating a platform that prioritizes advisor independence, supports seamless business transitions and puts client relationships at the center of everything.”
