And separately – for some comic relief – what a CLUSTER this week’s newsletter and Publisher Notes upload was for me. Ohmygoodness. First – I had “issues” with the newsletter login and then couldn’t reach my IT lead for 2 hours so I was shut out of our admin. As the time passed, my IM’s to him became a wee bit snippier, only to find out he was offline so he could help his son’s daycare plant a garden for the little ones. A garden!! For toddlers!!
To say I felt a little EMBARASSED by my actions would be an understatement. Then the YouTube video wouldn’t upload correctly for the Al & Ivy podcast, no matter how many times – or ways – I attempted it. Just wasn’t gonna do it – period. So we found a workaround for that after several frustrating attempts.
And as if that wasn’t enough, our ISP was apparently throttling the Wifi, so it was moving at glacial speed. Happily – and I had to remind myself this would happen several times during this process – everything DID got done and uploaded – and actually ahead of deadline. I know there’s a metaphysical lesson – or multiple ones – in there.
The main ones for me were slow down (even in this world of ultra-rapid AI, which I love love love!!), be patient and most importantly – don’t be an ass(!) Ever. There you go – you are welcome. Now you can skip this week’s therapy appointment – I’ve handled it all for you.
