Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT)

Institutional trading firms have a plus with TT Strategy Studio (by Trading Technologies International). The offering integrates with TT Quantitative Trading Solutions (QTS).

Additionally, the solution enables comprehensive alpha back-testing and optimization of profit scenarios.

Allvue Systems Holdings, Inc.

On the AI end, alternative market players have improved options with the Allvue Agentic AI Platform. The ecosystem offers streamlined, efficient investment processes.

Allvue also introduced Andi, a browser-based AI assistant that provides on-the-go answers within Allvue’s Credit Front Office.

LiquidityBook LLC/Capital Institutional Services (CAPIS)/Blue Ocean

In a May 15 announcement on its website, boutique trading platform LiquidityBook revealed the launch of overnight trading for its buy-side clients. Overnight trading is available via the Blue Ocean ATS and has integrations with Capital Institutional Services (CAPIS), an introducing broker.

Furthermore, buy-side clients can execute trades from Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM (Eastern).

YCharts, Inc./LPL Financial Holdings Inc.

Premier investment research ecosystem YCharts revealed the extension of its collaboration with LPL Financial. The expansion includes an integration with ClientWorks, LPL’s Advisortech offering.

Consequently, the deployment enables smooth portfolio alignments, improving process efficiency.

Crypto, Blockchain, and Digital Assets

SEC

On May 12, at the SEC’s Crypto Task Force roundtable tokenization event, Chairman Paul Atkins touted several benefits of moving securities on-chain. Atkins also iterated that the regulator will keep up and evolve new rules to foster improved innovation.

Furthermore, Atkins also identified creating a regulatory framework for tokenization as an essential component of his tenure.

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co./Ondo Finance, Inc./Chainlink

Banking behemoth J.P. Morgan revealed the first successful test transaction of its Kinexys by J.P. Morgan business unit on the Ondo Chain network. The operation involved the Ondo Finance Tokenized Fund (OUSG) settlement using Chainlink as a cross-chain interface.

Moreover, the transaction is the first real-world example of a Delivery versus Payment (DvP) process.

Coinbase, Inc.

Premier crypto exchange Coinbase debuts on the S&P 500 today (May 19). The listing improves the crypto space’s exposure to the deep ends of the markets, enabling increased adoption.

In addition, the move enables increased exposure to investors who may want to take their first foray into the sector.

Fintech, Personal Finance, and Apps

Integrated Finance (IF)/Flagright Data Technologies, Inc.

Flagright teamed up with Integrated Finance on the compliance end to improve product development. The API-focused integration combines product launches with compliance readiness.

Developers can also access preset APIs, giving vendors smooth takeoff options.

Dooap Inc./Amazon/Microsoft

Accounts Payable (AP) automation platform Dooap revealed the integration of AP automation with Amazon Business. The setup provides streamlined buying processes by unifying Microsoft D365 Finance’s ERP and the Amazon Business Reconciliation API.

Invoices and purchase orders are also digitized.

Zoho

Business-focused software firm Zoho revealed its United States debut with the launch of Zoho Payments, an umbrella payment-focused product with several rails, including card options and ACH access.

Moreover, Zoho’s customers now have an in-house payment offering.

Perplexity AI, Inc./PayPal

Again, still on AI, Perplexity, and PayPal collaborated to enable Agentic AI payments. Perplexity Pro users will soon be able to make seamless payments with Venmo or PayPal during product or shopping queries.

The feature has an (unspecified) Summer launch date.

Banking, Payments, and Infrastructure

Equifax, Inc.

Credit behemoth Equifax revealed the launch of myEquifax, its mobile app. Consumers now have on-the-go access to and access to their credit issues, including credit reports, credit freezes, and credit score monitoring.

The app also supports biometric authentication and financial education insights in the Equifax Knowledge Center.

Lithic, Inc./American Express

Card infrastructure firm Lithic partnered with American Express to improve Fintech payment options. The tie-up enables improved card issuance across the American Express® network.

American Express added Lithic to its Agile Partnership Platform, enabling improved product deployment.

Clearwater Credit Union/Alkami Technology, Inc.

In a May 16 announcement, Alkami revealed its Digital Banking Platform deployment for Missoula, Montana-based Clearwater Credit Union. The setup enables Clearwater’s customers to have an improved banking experience within a unified banking interface.

In addition, the partnership enables personalized options, providing increased flexibility.

Sunrise Banks/AKUVO, LLC

St. Paul, Minnesota-based Sunrise Banks partnered with a boutique banking Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider to improve its collections processes. The deployment activates AKUVO’s collections offering for Sunrise.

Sunrise also selected Akuvo’s Virtual Collector, an automated platform that processes delinquent accounts and payment collections without manual intervention.

ServiceLink IP Holding Company, LLC

Digital mortgage provider ServiceLink announced improvements to its EXOS® Close solution. Enhancements include physical and online closings, as well as state and county assessment options.

The process also includes user education and information for each part.

Vesta Innovations, Inc./Truv, Inc.

Loan origination-focused Vesta teamed up with niche verification specialist Truv to improve outcomes for mortgage lenders. The deployment combines Truv’s verification offerings with Vesta’s loan origination solutions.

Truv’s precise datasets are also available within Vesta’s no-code core, enabling smooth off-take processes.

Qumis, Inc.

Legal-focused AI insurance specialist Qumis announced the latest addition to its platform. The new iteration enhances insights from documents and policies and includes a collaborative feature.

Furthermore, the improvements include legal analysis with references and contract reviews.
