This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.

We saw a total of 13 fundraising announcements come in above the $100 million threshold, with one over the $1 billion mark, accelerating already strong venture capital activity in 2026.
The biggest announcement, per FinSMEs, came from Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Cerebras Systems, which raised $1 billion in a Series H at a $23 billion valuation. Cerebras is an AI chipmaker and an AI infrastructure provider that many financial and technology writers believe will go public in the near future. It is often seen as a primary competitor to Nvidia. Our second announcement is from London- and New York-based voice AI provider ElevenLabs, which raised $500 million in a Series D at an $11 billion valuation to “to expand research and product, and continue its international expansion across London, New York, San Francisco, Warsaw, Dublin, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Bengaluru, Sydney, São Paulo, Berlin, Paris and Mexico City with locally embedded go-to-market teams to support enterprise adoption of ElevenAgents and ElevenCreative worldwide,” according to its announcement. The top five also included companies in the construction, data analytics and home energy spaces.
Smaller funding raises that did not quite make our top 5 this week included announcements from the AI infrastructure, weather intelligence and software development sectors.
Below, we highlight the top five venture capital deals, ranked from the highest to the lowest funding amounts, showcasing the companies at the forefront of the AI revolution…
