This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.

Venture capital activity continued to accelerate this week, with seven fundraising announcements coming in above the $100 million threshold.
The biggest announcement, per FinSMEs, came from Austin, Texas-based Saronic Technologies, which raised $1.75 billion in a Series D to “support the continued advancement, expansion, and scaled production of its portfolio of autonomous surface vessels and AI-driven maritime capabilities,” according to the announcement. Saronic designs and manufactures autonomous surface vessels. Our second-place announcement was from Seoul, South Korea-based AI infrastructure provider Rebellions, which raised $400 million in pre-IPO funding, which it will use to focus “on U.S. market expansion, scaled production of its platform, and preparation for a future IPO,” according to its announcement. The top five also included companies in the capital markets, AI infrastructure and aerospace spaces.
Smaller funding raises that did not quite make our top 5 this week included announcements from the aerial drone, security and healthcare sectors.
Below, we highlight the top five venture capital deals, ranked from the highest to the lowest funding amounts, showcasing the companies at the forefront of the AI revolution…
