A Bitcoin ‘Futures’ ETF? Ready, Set, STOP!
Bitcoin ETF just rushed over to door number two. Yells of "let me in" are getting very loud. So what's behind door number two? Bitcoin futures. Recently the SEC dropped hints they MAY be receptive to ETFs that will trade in bitcoin futures rather than the cryptocurrency itself. Thus the stampede and excitement got all the management firm's juices flowing.

What's new? Other than Afghanistan.....not much.....August is traditionally slow and the last two weeks before the end of summer is even slower.....BITCOIN seems "comfy" around $46K.

What's new? Crazy week.....flare up of Delta version of Covid.....inflation heats up.....Fed says "yeah, so?.....and bonds rally, yields fall? WTF.....stocks dive, BTC & ETH dip lower (again) and GOLD perks up (a little).

Frustration...Malaise...Summer is here...get used to the doldrums and hit the beach/lake/bedroom and relax...BITCOIN lost 4% (week on week) and is mired in the $30K-$35K area...trading volume is drying up and the media is looking elsewhere for "action"...good!

The year's 3rd quarter has begun..........summer is well under way (except Australia...happy winter).........and markets are really slowing down...........BITCOIN has stabilized around $35K or a touch under........

CHINA......first its Elon Musk and then here comes China.........China stomps its big foot and basically shuts down BITCOIN mining in China causing BITCOIN to plunge (down 25% week on week).........Panic hits the crypto market, BITCOIN trades under $30K.........ETH drops under $2,000 (off 30%+ week on week)
