The stock market (S&P500) got to new all time highs & are living in a fantasy world. Right now we have a toss up for the S&P 500. A huge melt up & bull market blow off, or the beginning of a prolonged sell off.

The end of the third quarter is Friday and there is CHAOS globally. I have been pointing out for months that inflation was NOT transitory, interest rates were going to spike higher, there IS a recession (global?) coming and financial markets ARE in a bear market.  No surprises here.

Inflation is going higher. Interest rates are going higher. I've sat through this movie before (1970's and 1980-81), and it does not end well.

Not many people in the financial markets today have experienced a true bear market (1970's type). These markets are not going to be kind to those who choose to ignore the Fed.

Even if (if) inflation moderates to, say 6%, it's still too high. Interest rates would have to be 6%+ (7.5%?) To be "normal." that's not in the market. Rates are still going up.....and staying up.

I have been "yelling" this for months....."interest rates are going up much higher than anyone expects and inflation is not subsiding anytime soon".....expecting differently is like expecting the tooth fairy to pay a visit.

Breaking the calm of summer with some HUGE crypto news on a BTC ETF & it looks like ETH will be exceeding the price of gold very soon, too. BTC did it back in 2016/2017 & now ETH. Gold is so last 5,000 years ago.
